Changelog 4 - 28/08/2714

  • Skill system:

    - LARP timer slot now works while player is offline. Works correctly when logging off and exiting game world

    - LARP time now ticks down over time when the skill window is closed and a skill is active in the LARP slot

    - Changed function of skillset activation button so player does not have to press it each time they open skill window

    - Added skill ups for rank in LARP system, data also saves when player logs, but currently does not check for max rank. Currently dont have a way to reset the values

    - Added (temporary) reset button for making skill ranks back to 0, so they can be tested over again

    - Added warning when player tries to remove an in progress skill from the LARP skill slot. Changed logout and exit confirmation popups to new GUI style

    - Acitivated skill tooltip now shows how many times it will need to be used to level up to the next rank

    General:

    - Aligned keypress hotkeys to entry points of the Hotbar section

    - Hotbar tooltip now appears above hotbar section rather than over it

    - Changed over mouse pointer icon to new GUI design

    - Adjusted mouse pointer to correct location to correspond with clicks

    - Added check for ESC button press. First button press clears target, second button press opens main menu UI

    Chat system:

    - Added mousewheel control to scroll up and down on chat window

    - Added tab system to filter chat channels

    - Fixed text input boxes

    - Tabs can now blink when a message has been sent to an out of focus channel. Tab stops blinking when clicked on

    - Added chat buttons to side of chat window

    - Added chat option menu

    - Added optional chat profanity filter to options

    - Started to rework the chat option window to fit the rest of the exile interface

    Cyberpunk game... not Cuckoo Land please..
    (would like can said "Shit" if i fall lol... (with an emote... :P )

    but i agree to filter hard/bad Profanity..

    The chat filter is an optional tickbox in the chat settings. The game will have profanity such as shit and fuck being said by NPC's as well, but we know that some players prefer to keep it clean.

    As a best estimate, closed beta will be here in the first few months of next year. Might sound like a way aways, but there is still a lot of work to be done up to then.
