  • Hey guys. Seeing as the old thread from the old forums has sadly departed this world, i would like to give you all a little introduction about me. Feel free to add your own little bio here.

My name is Dan Anderson. I am founder and owner of Exile Gaming Studio. Im 27, from England (cup o'tea) and love the whole aspect of cyberpunk and sci-fi. Ive played a bunch games in the genre over the years, but they have mostly suffered from somewhat terrible development and handling. With the advent of Hero Engine being priced into realistic reach of indie teams, i decided it was high time we create the game i had always dreamed of playing.

I look forward to travelling the long road with you guys, as we watch in anticipation of the game taking shape over the coming future.

  • Maybe i can remember what i wrote down in the old forum.

So, my name is Christoph, im 31 and i live in the southern-most tip of germany, near the french and swiss border. I'am a web developer, karate student and a passionate metal fan. I'd describe myself as some kind of geek. Everything that is technical and/or electronical in some way causes an urge for comprehension in me.

  • Hello, I'm sersi, I live in the US but if anyone asks I'll swear I'm Canadian. I'm from Seattle, so it's true enough anyways >.>

I've always wanted a cyberpunk mmo that wasn't FPS, so when I found out about this one it was a dream come true! I've been playing MMO's for longer than I will admit, most recently playing The Secret World and Champions Online. I like comics, and music.. and.. stuff.

  • Greetings, I'm Syra.
I've been following Exile for a few weeks, but decided I would wait to get involved until the day of my birthday.
Now I have an easy way to keep track of how long I have been a part of the Exile community.

Anyways, I enjoy Anime, Gaming, Programming and Reading.
The only programming language I have actually learned is JavaScript, but I plan to branch out soon.
I enjoy most gaming genres, save sports, but FPSs and MMOs are my favorite (not together).
When I watch Anime, I am picky about what I watch; otherwise, I don't generally watch television.
I am very selective when it comes to reading, but generally I only read fantasy and dystopian books.

To conclude, I am very hard on myself when it comes to spelling and grammar, although generally I don't feel that way about other individual's writing.

  • Hello from Texas!

I enjoy PvE sandbox games, adventure games as well as virtual worlds that offer user content creation.

I've got a background in Multimedia design and development. I've dealt with many things involving web, animation, video, interactive demos and some 3D. Basically, anything that bridges art and logic intrigues me.

Anyways, I've certainly been waiting for a cyberpunk-based MMOG to come along. Well, there was Neocron in the past but yeah... it's pretty old. Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with!

Welcome welcome. Neocron is old and its appearance hasnt held up well over the last 12 years since it release. But saying that, it was a joy to play (if you can have joy in a dystopian future haha). Had a lot of fun with good friends while playing it. We are hoping to capture a lot of the spirit of Neocron.

  • Hello everyone,

I'm a fan of Cyberpunk / Dystropian universes that i mainly discovered playing Anarchy Online during my teenage in the Omni-Tek faction.

I've been playing Eve Online for more than 8 years, but nowadays i'm looking back and i really want to enjoy a game that bring me more than a decade in the past, in a universe i used to love and i'll surrely love again.

I also played Darkfall Online and i'm currently active on Darkfall Unholy Wars. (not cyberpunk at all :P )

I have a huge respect for indie devs and i wish you the best in the developement of the game.

    Grider.

  • Hi, my real name is Brian from Las Vegas, NV USA. I travel a bit and spend time in my hometown and in central US with family. I have always loved the cyberpunk genre and have never felt truly satisfied with any game. Somehow they always leave me wanting so much more. A true mmo style world could be just the fix I need. At 35 years of age I have played many games from all types of genres and I can say this is the one game I really have my eyes on.

I am glad you guys were able to grab the hero engine hopefully you can do some really good stuff with it. Looking forward to all you have in store for us.
